Instant Jalebi At Home


Hey foodies...!!! Jalebi is the most favourite Indian Sweet. Often seen in every Indian wedding ad celebrations.. It is crispy, juicy and delicious in taste coated with crystallised sugar coating. Normally batter of jalebi is fermented for several hours to get its taste. Instead of this we can make instant jalebi just in 20 mins. And it has same texture and same taste as per traditional method. So let’s get started. 




For Jalebi Batter

Ingredients :- 

All purpose flour - 4 tbsp 
Rice flour - 1/2 tsp 
Curd - 1 tbsp 
Orange food colour - 1 pinch 
Baking soda - 1 pinch 

For Chasni 

Ingredients :- 

Sugar - 1 cup 
Water - 1/2 cup 
Lemon juice - few drops 
Cardamom - 2 

Procedure :- 

For jalebi batter 


Step 1- In a bowl add all purpose flour/ maida
Step 2- Add rice flour, curd and mix well
Step 3- Add food colour to batter 
Step 4 - Add water gradually till flowing consistency
Step 5 - Cover batter 5-7 mins 
Step 6 - Add a pinch of baking soda just before frying the jalebi

For chasni :- 

Step 1 - In a pan take sugar and add water and on medium flame start boiling until it thickens 
Step 2 - While boling add cardamom 
Step 3 - After it get thickens add few drops of lemon n turn off the flame 

Final step -  Take a deep frying pan and add oil and heat it on medium flame. Now take a piping bag/ ketchup bottle and add the batter to it. Now using it make the jalebi directly into the frying pan. Fry the jalebi on medium flame. After take the jalebi and dip it into chasni for few mins. And JALEBI IS READY TO SERVE..!!! 

You can serve it hot as well as cold.
